Jesus came to bring a sword of division between belief and unbelief.

A man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.

He who doesn’t take his cross and follow Jesus….

Whoever loses his life in this world will find it.

He who receives and welcomes you, receives and welcomes me.

These are all words that Jesus spoke before sending out the twelve for service in His authority.

What do you think that means today?

What are you sent to do? Do you share the truth of God with those around you? Do you find excuses for not sharing the gospel?

I remember asking the Lord why no one ever told me about Him and why I had to spend my whole life up to that point (40 years or so) searching for something to satisfy my soul and make me feel of value.

Why would people be afraid to tell others about Jesus? I never thought I could ever be that way after meeting Him and being trained by Him for three years, but as time went on, and I began spending time with other Christians a lot, I began to loose sight of that fiery passion that once consumed me.
