As I contemplated this question a few years ago, I was incredibly weighed down with every worry imaginable.  From child abuse to over crowded prisons and dysfunctional families being the norm rather than a mother and father being happily married with healthy, obedient children, the world was full of single moms struggling to make enough money to feed their children while being broken and buried in shame and poverty, with no man around to help or contribute to anything but violence and sex. 

There were around 687,000 children in the foster care system in 2016 in the United States.

-child abuse, robbery, murder, rape, domestic violence, sex trafficking…

all hate, all anger, all bitterness, all jealousy, all greed, all lust, all sickness and sorrow completely removed in a moment.

There had always been a solution to these “massive” issues, but we blinded our eyes and covered our ears so we didn’t have to see or hear the truth.

Love is patient, kind, believes all, forgives all, helps all, encourages, builds, 

It’s easy to forget all of the awesome things God does and can do when we get focused on all of the bad stuff out there.  Which is what I was doing today obviously.  Sorry!  I should share the good and the bad together so people don’t panic I guess

I actually took some time off from helping with these issues, because I needed to learn more about that good news after I was attacked and being crushed daily because I didn’t really know God, but only knew how evil the world was.  Now I can see the good which is much bigger than the bad, so I don’t live in a place of fear, but I know that we need people to continue to pray for these families and girls that are suffering and need rescued and restored. We just need to help each other and provide prayers of protection for all people in need.  God said that the only thing that can destroy evil completely is love, so I continue to cry for these girls and offer my prayers and support for those suffering.
