I wonder if people realize that Jesus Christ actually was enough. When he was beaten, mocked, and nailed to a cross to die a terrible death that was meant for the most evil of people, he didn’t suffer all of those things for anything that he had done. Instead he did what no one else has ever done. He chose to take the suffering of shame, mocking, torment, beating, and even being put to death to pay the price for ALL of the evil and wicked things that mankind could ever do. He took ALL of our due punishment for us in order to make a way for the people to be set free to return to God the Father by believing in the finished works of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the only begotten son of God. He was perfect without any sin, and the only one that was worthy of all honor by the Father. Jesus is the perfect image of the Father, and that should make it very clear to all that the Father’s love for all of his creation is so much greater than anything this world could ever fully comprehend, so why are there people that still refuse to forgive others for their wrongs? If God can forgive all of the evil done, surely we can find it in our hearts to forgive the people that hurt us in the past.

When we realize that everyone struggles and no one is living a life that doesn’t come with moments of deep suffering and heartache, it makes it a little easier to understand that we all need help and forgiveness.

When we expect others to pay for what they did to us, we are saying that what Jesus paid was not enough. If we don’t forgive, we can’t receive forgiveness from God. That is truly not asking for much when we understand how many times we have hurt others or ignored someone in need, or put our own plans and interests first instead of seeking God’s will.

If you have knowingly hurt people through greed, selfishness, lust, envy, pride, arrogance or any other deceptive way, it is time to repent and begin giving more than you take.

We are all here to do good and help each other. No one is more important than anyone else, so don’t think that you deserve mercy when you never gave others mercy.

I strongly urge all people to open their eyes and see things through the lens of Truth. If God gave up His only begotten son, because He knew that it was the only way for man to return to Him, what type of love should we have for each other and for our Creator?

Evil can only be destroyed completely by one thing and that is LOVE!

So love, because Jesus was enough to forgive ALL of the wrongs of the world!

Let the negative thoughts and actions go, so you can rise up to a higher realm where only love abides.
