We make all of our problems into these elevated idols that people spend a lifetime trying to resolve or make go away. If people would just pray and believe that God is good and He can do all things, then we wouldn’t have to spend a lifetime trying to solve a problem that was created when we began to put it above God!

People hear about something that happened that was really bad, and instead of praying for God to intervene and help, everyone sets out on a major rager to point fingers, blame, shame, make new laws, build new programs and facilities to prepare and train to implement the new policies and programs that are all now required by law to be established in a few months to correct an issue that truly could have been fixed with a few prayers, but millions of dollars later and a massive amount of stress, arguing, creating, teaching and setting up a “better system” to hopefully prevent the thing that had only happened a few times ever in the past, from ever causing any harm to another in the future.

I hope that the ridiculousness of this can be understood without me explaining it, but if not, I will just say that a lot of money time and people were wasted and stressed to ensure that a “potential” problem doesn’t cause someone else a problem. WHAT?!??!?

We don’t need to worry in that way when we know and trust God. We can be confident and assured that we are protected by His power and His Word that holds us up in love. If you think you know God, but still live in constant fear and worry, it might be time to actually seek God with your whole heart and allow Him to show you His faithfulness, and steadfast love that never ends or changes with our circumstances.

There are no better plans or systems than God already made possible for us to use!
